Kasida
A Srinagar-based heritage shawl brand needed an e-commerce store to sell authentic, handcrafted Pashmina and Toosha shawls online, direct to buyers.
The Challenge
Kasida sells genuine, handcrafted Kashmiri shawls — Pashmina, Toosha and Rafal, featuring traditional Sozni, Tilla and Neemdore embroidery — but had no e-commerce platform to sell online, meaning buyers outside Kashmir had no way to purchase directly from the source.
The Solution
We built an e-commerce store with a full product catalog organized by shawl type, detailed product pages describing the craftsmanship and embroidery technique behind each piece, and a storefront built to communicate authenticity and heritage to buyers who've never visited Kashmir in person.
The Results
Kasida now sells directly to buyers online at kasidashawls.com, with product pages that tell the story of each embroidery technique — letting the brand reach customers beyond in-person and word-of-mouth sales.
